The 145th Team in Michigan Football history and defending National Champions kicked off the 2024 season ranked No. 9 in the country with a 30-10 win over Fresno State, pulling away in the second half with 20 points and 180 yards. The Wolverines made an early statement when Zeke Berry countitup_zeke10 picked off a pass on the third play of the season, setting up a 3-yard touchdown from Alex Orji alexorji1 to Donovan Edwards dedwards___ on Michigan’s first offensive drive. Colston Loveland _colstonloveland_ had a career-high 87 yards and a 19-yard touchdown, while Kalel Mullings kalelmullings rushed for 92 yards.
