53 years ago yesterday marks the date of “Loving Day”. The day it became legal to marry interracially. Allow me to rephrase and reiterate for emphasis...We as Americans, needed the Supreme Court to settle the argument over if loving someone...just loving them..with a different skin tone was a criminal act. To keep this post short, it was not all smooth sailing afterwards. Doesn’t that sound crazy? Well the hard truth is, depending on where you are today, no it doesn’t sound crazy at all.
