I started my food blog in 2010 and it became my full-time job in 2019. I absolutely love I get to be creative in the kitchen. 😍 I enjoy making recipes, practicing photography, shooting videos, and learning the ins and outs of SEO.

But I’m also an extrovert, and spending all day as a solopreneur can be a bit lonely. So one of my favorite parts of running the business is meeting other content creators! ❤️

When I had an opportunity to go to the freshairretreat in Charleston, SC I jumped at the chance!

It was so fun getting to learn from other food bloggers while talking strategy by the pool and solving business problems at the beach. thelemonbowl and thecurious_plate thought of every detail and it was such a great environment for learning and connection.

We ate incredible food by cheftrimell, we visited downtown explorecharleston, and we got to chat with some awesome partners like mediavine grocerslist happyegg, and sabrinaloyercoaching.

This was absolutely time well spent and I came back with a great vision of where I want to take I Heart Vegetables! Stay tuned for lots of fun projects ahead!
