Leah Keator, a junior double majoring in sociology and justice and society, is steering sustainability efforts both on campus and throughout Omaha. As a student representative for the Office of Sustainability, she advocates for greater accessibility and engagement with alternative transportation options. She also serves on the Omaha Metro Transit Authority Advisory Committee, working to strengthen the connection between public transit and the community.

Looking ahead, Leah plans to attend law school, where she hopes to further her passion for sustainability—supported by her experiences at Creighton. "I chose Creighton because it felt like somewhere I could grow. Walking on the mall, it felt like everyone knew each other. That comfortability and excitement drew me in.”
