Without a collective bargaining agreement, schools are about to face a tsunami of holdouts and lawsuits because they have failed to realize that players deserve a seat at the table and therefore real bargaining power. A CBA would structure these agreements and make sure that everyone is on the same page when they sign it, including multi year agreements. 

The solution is simple: athletes and schools need a collectively negotiated partnership through Athletes.org.
