The players' and PTPA’s legal complaints reveal a number of critical issues plaguing tennis. Over the coming weeks, we’ll unpack several of these issues, beginning with a fundamental truth:

The tours, ITIA and ITF monopolize professional tennis globally, using anti-competitive practices to illegally control the sport to the detriment of players and fans.

By locking players into their dominant design, the tours stifle any opportunities for free market competition. This means stifling individual tournaments' ability to compete for players' services with higher prize money, more favorable scheduling, and other beneficial conditions.
