Arizona Monster 300 — The Toughest of the Tough, Celebrating DFL

Our final finisher, Carolyn Cunha, 62, of Bozeman, Montana, crossed the line after 167 hours 33 minutes and 20 seconds on course, earning the honor of DFL: Dead Freakin’ Last. And we couldn’t be prouder. Carolyn is a true champion of grit and perseverance!

We celebrated her finish with our tradition that dates back to the early years of the Tahoe 200, Bigfoot 200, and Moab 240: a human arch formed by spectators, welcoming the final runner home.

Every runner matters: from the front to the very back of the pack. Celebrating DFL reminds us all: it’s not about how fast you are. It’s about how tough you are.
