Just days after North Atlantic right whale ‘Accordion’ was seen with her first calf, mom ‘Cashew’ has been spotted with a new baby as well. This makes 9 identified new mother-calf pairs so far this season. 

But despite their fighting spirit, North Atlantic right whales face human-caused obstacles to their survival.
