An amazing 4th annual Faces of Courage benefit gala. Inspiring and raw. Faces of Hope (safetyandhope) offers a safety net of crisis services to those experiencing domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, elder abuse, stalking, or human trafficking. No judgment, no strings, no fees, just help. 

To learn more about this organization and how you can help or donate your time, supplies or money- comment “HOPE” in the comments. We will also send you a link to theboisebubble podcast episode where we spoke to Paige Dinger, the Executive Director of Faces of Hope. It’s a very blunt conversation, and I think it’s an important one. If you’ve ever wondered why people don’t just leave, this would be a good listen, it’s a lot more complicated than most people could ever imagine. 

We are truly grateful to live in a community that stands up for survivors of abuse. But honestly, can we please address the real issue? Why is domestic abuse against women, children and the elderly still so prevalent in our community? And what kind of culture shift needs to happen so that it ceases?

If you’re someone who is confided in by a domestic abuse, victim, believe them. Help them. Be patient.

If you’re someone who suspects domestic abuse is happening, let the victim know you are there for them no matter what.
