As the Arctic emerges as a new geopolitical hotspot, #USAFA cadets in the Department of Behavioral Sciences and Leadership are diving into cutting-edge research to prepare warfighters for one of the world’s most extreme environments.
 
From exploring permafrost tunnels to wargaming with Canadian partners, our cadets studied how indigenous communities adapt to the cold—and how future officers must think strategically about this rapidly changing region.
