This week’s #DJspotlight is on DJ Dingus! Along with DJing, he has also worked on art and marketing for KCPR. 

Wondering what you might typically hear on his show? “I play an amalgam of noize. Strictly noize, and never noise. The more cowbell, the better.”

In his opinion, @gorillaz had the stand-out release of 2020. “I feel like the Gorillaz threw themselves back into the zeitgeist with their consistent releases a la their album "Song Machine." If this is news to you, stop what you're doing and peep the noize. ‘Lil bit of slowthai in the mix, schoolboy q, and oh yeah, (sir) Elton John. Thank you Gorillaz.”

We asked DJ Dingus about any recording rituals he has. “Before shows, I like to sip melon la croix and hug my roommates.”
