Growing up in Southern California, I was fortunate to rep the love of 8 in those iconic kicks at Arroyo Grande High School and Judkins Middle School.

I still remember warming up in those shoes when BigShotsToday was sponsored by Converse at Cal Poly—but I had to wear those 8s. The game winners I hit in them… unforgettable.

Wore the same shoes sitting in the top row of Staples Center, watching Kobe & Shaq dominate the Trail Blazers.
