Loyola High School is excited to announce the hiring of Cameron “Cam” Joyce as the new head coach of the LoyolaBKB program! 🏀

Joyce comes to Los Angeles by way of St. Ignatius HS, a private all-boys Jesuit school in Cleveland, Ohio. In his six years at the helm, Joyce led the Wildcats to a Division I State Championship, five straight district championships, four Division I regional titles, and four State Final Four appearances. He is a two-time Ohio Coach of the Year with 18 former players that are now competing at the collegiate level. 

Prior to coaching at SI, Joyce was the Director of Operations at Ohio University, the assistant Video Coordinator at the University of Florida, and an assistant coach at Northwood University.

“Loyola’s legacy in athletics and academics is legendary,” said Coach Joyce. “Their motto of ‘Men for and With Others’ resonates deeply with me since I am coming from a fellow Jesuit school. Through basketball, I try to develop young men into what they are meant to be.” Welcome to Loyola, Coach. Let’s get to work!
