We’re thrilled to announce that Chasity Melvin is joining the Women’s Premier Basketball Association Advisory Board!

Chasity is a trailblazer in every sense — a former WNBA All-Star, international standout, and one of the few women to transition into coaching at the professional level with the phoenixmercury. She also made history working with both the hornets and their NBA G League affiliate, the greensboroswarm — continuing to break barriers and set the standard for women in professional basketball.

Her journey reflects what we’re all about at WPBA: resilience, excellence, and opening doors for women in the game.

She brings not only high-level basketball expertise, but a deep commitment to player development, mentorship, and global opportunity — pillars that define our league.
