Director #ShawnLevy and #RyanGosling took the stage today in Tokyo, Japan for #StarWarsCelebration, officially announcing their upcoming project ‘Star Wars: Starfighter.’

Set five years after ‘The Rise of Skywalker’ (2019), the new installment is set to go into production this fall and premiere May 28, 2027 exclusively in theaters.

Said Levy, “There are many rumors, some true, some not. … This is not a prequel, this is not a sequel. It’s a new adventure.”
