The most important rule is communication. Even if a player technically has priority, they should only take the ball if they clearly call for it.

1. Center Fielder (CF)
	•	Top priority in the entire field.
	•	Has priority over all outfielders and infielders.

2. Left Fielder (LF) & Right Fielder (RF)
	•	Have priority over all infielders.
	•	RF and LF communicate with each other, but CF still has priority over them.

3. Shortstop (SS)
	•	Has the highest priority among infielders.
	•	Has priority over 2B, 3B, 1B, pitcher, and catcher.

4. Second Baseman (2B)
	•	Has priority over 1B, pitcher, and catcher.
	•	Yields to the shortstop if both go for the same ball.

5. Third Baseman (3B)
	•	Has priority over 1B and pitcher.
	•	Yields to SS on pop-ups in between.

6. First Baseman (1B)
	•	Typically covers foul territory and pop-ups near the line.
	•	Yields to 2B and SS.

7. Catcher (C)
	•	Covers pop-ups around home plate and foul territory.
	•	Can call off the pitcher, but usually yields to infielders on infield pop-ups unless it’s near the plate.

8. Pitcher (P)
	•	Lowest priority.
	•	Should almost always yield to any other position calling for the ball.
