## Caption

Things I’ve learned about the desert so far on the Pacific Crest Trail:
-the days are hot but the nights are cold 
-you should carry 1 liter of water for every 4 miles that you walk
-a sunbrella is a lifesaver
-there are so many lizards. Sooooo many lizards. And some snakes, too.
-there are familiar plants, like lilac, but they’re just a *little* different

And I’m sure I’m gonna keep learning!!
