Becoming a living organ donor isn’t as crazy as it may sound. While checking that box on a driver’s license is helpful, thousands of people still die every year waiting for organ transplants. But anyone can save a life by donating a spare kidney or part of their liver, while they’re around to feel great about it.

The Penn Transplant Institute’s Center for Living Donation encourages those able to consider becoming a donor to take the next step.
