In a statement, Prospect Medical Holdings, the parent company of Crozer Health, announced they will “begin winding down operations” across some facilities.

This comes as the health system struggled to find a buyer amid financial issues. Thousands of employees who work for Crozer Health were sent a letter Monday morning about the closure.

Ambulatory surgery and imaging centers at Brinton Lake, Broomall, Haverford and Media will stay open, according to a spokesperson.
