## Caption

5 tips for curating the perfect color palette for your next event:

1. Select ONE element to use as inspo. This can be one decor item you love, an invitation, or even a photo of something you’ve been inspired by

2. Pick ONE main color (maybe two if you really can’t narrow it down) from your inspo. This is going to be the most prominent color from the inspo. Then, pick 2-3 accent colors from the inspo - the less obvious colors that tend to fade into the background. Stick to 3-4 colors in your palette total. More than that will easily start to look cluttered

3. Use your main color to dictate the color of your largest party items - table linens, pipe and drape, backdrops, etc.

4. Use your accent colors to dictate your softer party elements - floral arrangements, balloons, party favors, and smaller decor pieces

5. Don’t hyper-fixate on matching every single party item to the EXACT colors in your palette. Instead, use elements that are different hues of those in your actual palette. This creates interest and keeps things looking cohesive without feeling overly contrived
