"My name is Daniel, I’m 37 years old, and I live in the Alps—specifically in the very south of Germany, in the Allgäu Alps. I spend a lot of time outdoors in the mountains, staying active, and I’ve been passionate about photography since my youth. Film photography is a deep passion of mine, which I combine with my love for being outside.

Every single day, when I’m out in nature, I always carry at least one analog camera with me. There’s something magical about those fleeting moments—like in the evening after a rainstorm, when the sky clears, and dramatic cloud formations meet the deep golden light of the setting sun. Or during a ski tour in the early morning or late evening, far away from tourist areas and infrastructure, capturing those raw, untouched moments on film.

There’s something truly special about this process—how a photo remains hidden inside a small canister, waiting to be revealed. And when, days or even weeks later, the final image emerges, its value feels even greater." - Daniel
