## Caption

It feels fitting that this feature would publish during National Infertility Awareness Week.  For many, many months, womenshealthmag has been embedded in my IVF journey… from my hopes prior to my first egg retrieval, to my bitter disappointment following it, to the intense anticipation ahead of the transfer of our one and only embryo, to the elation following a successful pregnancy test, and then through the shattering loss nine weeks later…. all the way up until today: day 6 of a brand new cycle, with fresh hope.

This is obviously a very vulnerable and sensitive journey both to cover and to share, and I am so grateful for the immense care and thoughtfulness throughout the entire reporting process. I appreciate the opportunity to use my voice to describe a reality so often suffered in silence.
 
For anyone else on this journey: I see you. We’re in this together. 💜
