Did you know Futsal has unique names for positions? 🤔 

Here, Coach Mike is explaining the positions in addition to the Goalkeeper. As these terms are unfamiliar with the players, Mike has a few techniques to aid their understanding…

1️⃣ States what the position is called (Fixo/Ala/Pivot)
2️⃣ Spells the position
3️⃣ Has the players repeat back the name of the position
4️⃣ Provides the meaning/origin of the word 🇧🇷 
5️⃣ Adds the roles and responsibilities of that position.

🔑 Another nice technique is that he uses references from other sports 🏀 in the explanation of the pivot. This may make it easier for the players to understand if they’ve had prior knowledge of that through 🏀
