## Caption

It's migration season for Magellanic penguins! These penguins typically mate for life and return to the same nesting site each breeding season, which runs from September to mid-April. We saw these penguins nesting at Península Valdés in Argentina.

Soon, the Magellanic penguins will migrate north for the winter, to warmer climates in Peru and Brazil. This journey can be as long as 4,000 miles. #WorldPenguinDay
