Well, you can certainly tell who his dad is…Kentucky Derby contender AMERICAN PROMISE is a son of 2018 Triple Crown winner Justify, who stands at Coolmore America’s Ashford Stud.

American Promise, a $750,000 yearling, is owned by BC Stables and trained by Hall of Famer D. Wayne Lukas. The colt won the March 15 Virginia Derby at Colonial Downs which earned him a spot in the starting gate on the first Saturday in May 🌹 

Can he follow in the hoofprints of his successful sire? We’ll find out! ✨
