Easily the most common question I get. And also the easiest to answer. My favorite (and my family’s) favorite restaurant in Idaho is alyonkarussiancuisine. Makes sense they were recently awarded best European Restaurant in Idaho. If there is a special occasion, we are making reservations. It is doubly special as Shane‘s family hails from Ukraine, and it gives our kids a chance to taste a little of their heritage. 

Make sure to watch their episode on foodnetwork “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives”. You just might see us telling guyfieri how much we enjoy Elena’s recipes. And listen to our episode on theboisebubble where we interview owners Elena and Dan. It’s a very uplifting listen. 

Spring items hit the menu like:

🥬 “Golubtsy” | Cabbage Rolls
Cabbage leaves stuffed with seasoned ground beef, and rice served with a side of basmati rice and rich tomato sauce.

🍰 Honey Cake and Pavlova might be some of the best desserts in town.
