#TerrierTuesdays: Meet Maanav Amin (buquestrom ‘25)! Originally from Ahmedabad, India, Maanav’s transition to BU was a huge change. What he loved most about the move was the diversity of the student body. Currently, Maanav is a senior majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and Finance. Outside the classroom, he is the Team Manager for BU Jalwa (bujalwa), a Gymnastics Teaching Assistant at the Fitness and Recreation Center (bostonufitrec), and a Resident Assistant for the Upper Bay State Road community in Residence Life (applytobu). He has also gained work experience over the years as an Operations Supervisor at Agganis Arena and a Facilities Assistant at BU Facilities. Last summer, he interned as an Advisory Intern at KPMG US. After graduation, Maanav is set to work as an Internal Audit and Enterprise Risk Consultant at KPMG in Boston. When asked for a piece of advice he’d share with his fellow Terriers, Maanav said, “Don’t stress about what others are doing. Don’t join clubs or organizations because you think it’s what employers want to see—do what interests and excites you!”
