Looking Glass Magazine: Cover Art + Photo Illustrations — As Creative Director for Looking Glass Magazine, I conceptualized and executed every visual element of this wildly eclectic publication devoted to “Gonzo Anthropology.” From photo-illustrated covers, like Padma Lakshmi portrayed in kitchenware, to reimagining Citizen Kane as an NES game, this role stretched my creative boundaries like no other. For better and/or worse, it was the only job where I was never told, 'No.' A personal favorite was transforming a table of contents into a theme park map, with 'lands' representing issue sections and 'attractions' as articles, complete with page numbers.
