In honor of #NationalSuperheroDay, we want to take a moment to recognize all the heroes in our community, including childhood cancer hero Jonathon!🦸🎗️

Jonathon was diagnosed with leukemia when he was just two-and-a-half years old. He underwent chemotherapy and IVIG infusions and developed diabetes while on treatment. Though Jonathon is off treatment today, he returns to the doctor's office twice a month to monitor his blood counts.

It may be safe to say that Jonathon's heroism in his battle against cancer was inspired by his love for the Avengers. He loves superheroes so much he wants to be one when he grows up – in the form of an oncologist. Read Jonathon's story> alexslemonade.org/hero/jonathon-howard
