Your weekend watching just got ALOT more exciting. 🤩📺⁣

For the first time ever, all WNBA preseason games will be available to watch via national broadcast or online livestream this year. This is HUGE, considering only one preseason game in WNBA history was ever shown on national TV — the 2019 matchup between the New York Liberty and the Chinese national team. LFG 🤯⁣

Get ready, GISTers — the WNBA is serving up a full slate of preseason action — including the Indiana Fever’s game against the Brazilian national team this Sunday in Iowa City. The Fever’s game at Carver-Hawkeye Arena (4 p.m. ET) is one of four WNBA preseason matchups to be televised nationally. This game also marks a special homecoming for 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year Caitlin Clark, who made history as the all-time Division I scoring leader during her time at Iowa from 2020–2024. It will be broadcast on an ESPN platform, with the specific channel to be announced. 💪⁣

The 2025 WNBA preseason action kicks off Friday starting at 7PM ET., with plenty of homecoming games for players. First up, the Las Vegas Aces — featuring former Notre Dame guards Jewell Loyd and Jackie Young — take on the Dallas Wings, led by Irish alum Arike Ogunbowale, at Notre Dame’s Purcell Pavilion. This will be Loyd’s first game with the Aces after her February trade from Seattle, and it marks the debut of 2025 No. 1 draft pick Paige Bueckers with Dallas. 👀⁣
•⁣
Every preseason game except the Fever vs. Brazil also will be available for free on the WNBA League Pass app. The Fever-Brazil game will be streamed by ESPN. So grab your popcorn. 🍿 ⁣
