Timberbrook farm is ready for summer! ☀️ Taking the Lead is a nonprofit that rescues and trains animals to support individuals with disabilities. Based at Timberbrook Farm, an 80-acre working dog and horse training facility, the organization offers animal-assisted therapy, therapeutic riding and service animal training to help individuals build life skills for greater independence and success at home, in the community and at the workplace. BGE volunteers spent a day repairing fences, washing down the arena, landscaping, cutting trees, weed-whacking, planting, cleaning gutters, repairing buildings, and constructing new hay huts to support the farm.
