One of the best cues I’ve learned from teacherman1986 is about swing direction… 

“Ferris Wheel to 2nd Baseman” (SS for a lefty)

I was a good enough athlete to dominate college baseball and get into pro ball, but as you continue to ascend in the game hand eye coordination and athleticism only take you so far. 

You’re playing a dangerous game when your barrel sweeps across the zone to your pull side base. 

The wording of “Ferris Wheel to 2nd Baseman” encompasses the opposite field swing direction (which for me just gets me center), but also the depth and plane of the swing. 

You’re can’t just step toward the 2nd baseman and direct your swing that way. Barrel not in the zone early. Blown up by inside pitches. 

🎡 2️⃣ ⛺️…. It’s a thought. 

It’s supposed to take a pushy and sweeping barrel and make it more neutral to center and in the zone quicker.
