🌭🧐 HOT DOGGIN' with eatatchain - LA's Popup phenomenon is the one to beat -- We checked out CHAIN's "Hot Dog High Tea" pop-up collaboration event earlier this month; It's their take on Chicago's favorite PortillosHotDogs (and mine too) in conjunction with Jamesonus and it was a fun experience from start to finish! Keep your eyes peeled for future popups to come!

It was tough to pick a favorite but the dog, grilled cheese, and Italian beef and strawberry shortcake sandwich were tops in our books, duplicating the flavor and taste I've known, but in high tea small bites form!

🌭The Chicago Pup: All the beauty, splendor, and flavor of a Chicago Dog, but little. Served on a poppy seed bun with a Vienna pup, topped with Chain’s Haute Dog Relish™, an umami celery salt, and of course a lil’ dill spear.

🧀Portillo’s Cheese Gougéres: Light. Fluffy. Insanely cheesy. Brushed with clarified butter and dusted with a tomato & chili spice. Filled with Portillo’s cheese sauce.

🥖Italian Beef & Truffle: The Italian Beef is a perfect sandwich. And when you make it with Black Barrel Whiskey-Marinated Ribeye, a Truffle Giardiniera, and a Black Barrel Whiskey Au Jus, it becomes an even more perfect sandwich.

🍟Salt & Pepper Pizzelle: The Portillo’s Crinkle Fry, reimagined as a Pizzelle sandwich filled with a sweet & savory tomato jam.

🐔BBQ Chicken Tea Sandwich: Portillo’s Chicken Chopped Salad is the an underrated classic. This tea sandwich features marinated smoked chicken tigh, tossed in a Jameson Black Barrel Whiskey BBQ, sandwiched between milk bread.

🍓Strawberry Shortcake Sandwich: Two Black Pepper Biscuits sandwiching strawberry compote, featuring a Jameson Black Barrel Whiskey Chantilly.

🥐 Chocolate Croissant: The Portillo’s chocolate eclair cake, reimagined as a sea salt & chocolate golden croissant with a Jameson Black Barrel whiskey eclair filling.

🎂 Chocolate Cake: Not even we would dare transform the Portillo’s chocolate cake. But we would create a Jameson Black Barrel Whiskey Caramel Glaze to go on top of it.
