Meet C1C Kelsey “M-B” Monaghan-Bergson from Tacoma, Washington. 🌲
 
M-B is majoring in Behavioral Sciences and is a member of the usafa_mhp. She was named a 2024 Truman Scholar and will pursue a Master's in Public Policy before commissioning into the spaceforcedod. 🌌
 
As a first-generation service member, M-B was inspired by her marines mentors and a passion for service through academia. She cherishes the lifelong friendships built through leadership and shared purpose. 🫡
 
Her most memorable experiences include:
❄️ Arctic Field Research – Studied cognitive performance in extreme cold for her capstone on future warfighter readiness.
🇺🇸 U.S. Senate Internship – Contributed to national security policy through the Dean’s Summer Research Program.
🇹🇭 Global Outreach in Thailand – Taught STEM and self-defense to Thai children.
🌍 NATO Innovation Conference – Represented #USAFA as a National Liaison in Portugal.
