Two Triple Crown winners with sons in the 2025 GI Kentucky Derby, the first leg of the Triple Crown, at Churchill Downs 👑 

In 2015, American Pharoah won the Triple Crown and then proceeded to secure the ‘Grand Slam’ as he also won the GI Breeders’ Cup Classic. 

In 2018, the undefeated Justify won the Triple Crown.

Today, they are represented by their sons in the Derby, with American Pharoah having two contenders and Justify having one.
