In honor of May Day, MomsRising and utahchildren brought together healthcare providers, educators, faith and business leaders, families, and advocates for a powerful press conference and roundtable.⁣
⁣
Together, we called on elected officials to reject funding for mass deportations—and instead, invest in what truly strengthens Utah: our families.⁣
⁣
Grateful to our speakers who shared how harmful rhetoric and deportation policies fuel fear, tear apart communities, and weaken our economy.⁣
⁣
The message was clear: A stronger, more inclusive Utah means access to healthcare, education, and economic opportunity for all. It means investments in families—not in fear and cruelty.⁣
