## Caption

Kudos 🙌 to the team at Windsor Park Stud for organising a fourth Rugby, Racing and Beer South Island Yearling Sale at Riccarton Park Racecourse on Friday, 2 May. The event was a sell-out, with people travelling from across the country despite the inclement weather and state of emergency in the greater Christchurch area.  

Ten yearlings were presented and sold for $436,000, with 2.5% of the proceeds donated to charity. 💸

The Trust was fortunate to receive $6,600 thanks to the generosity of Rod, Nick, Mike & the team giving back to causes in the community. 

In the past couple of weeks, they have raised close to $30,000 for NZ Horse Ambulance, Hato Hone St John, Child Cancer Foundation and the Higgins Family Trust to support the family of the late Amanda Higgins.

Thank you to the successful bidders and underbidders for raising vital funds for equine welfare. We're heartened by the incredible support of NZ's Thoroughbred breeders for the horse ambulance service. Ngā mihi maioha 🤗
