FF/Inspector Nick Simons and Chief Brian Pemberton were recognized this morning with the Medal of Valor for the rescue of a child from an apartment fire without the protection of a hoseline on October 26, 2024 in Ocean Township (NJ). The child survived and is expected to be released from the hospital soon.
