Ode to College Gymnastics-
I need to start my thanking the most high, it was Him who guided me through my athletic journey. My family. I can’t describe how grateful I am for the sacrifices not just you made, mom and dad, but the ones my siblings made. Arthur, Artyon, and Airyss. It feels you grew up without an older sister because gymnastics was so demanding on me. Everything I’ve done I dedicate to you guys. Yall are what drives me because I want to not only set a great example and be the stepping stone for you. But I want yall to be proud of me. I love you guys so so much.

Momma- My literal superwoman. The light of my existence. You would have given anything just so I can have my dream. You missed out on things with my other siblings just to take me to Karolyi camps and travel comps. You cleaned the gym every Wednesday for 6 years to help pay my tuition so I could keep doing the sport that I loved. Driving back and forth between Temecula and LA, splitting yourself into two different people to maximize your time with your kids. I could go on and on about everything you have done for me. None of this was achievable without you. Thank you momma

My coaches: Shan man, Whit, Lace, Jack, Brad, John, and Casey Jo. You all have made such an impact on me in every chapter of my college career. Whether I spent a single season or all four years, I have taken lessons from each of you. I have grown into this strong woman because of all of you and my village at home. From 6am workouts to 11 rounds of conditioning I have learned it’s not a sprint to see who is the best the fastest. I’ve learned greatness takes time and, most importantly, failures. Thank you.

My team and Mady: Ladies, I love you all. So much. Our locker room dance parties, our pre meet and post meet bus tours. Yall making sure I’m not eating things I’m allergic to. Yall are my rock. Everything I’ve accomplished I did because of yall. You guys pushed me to be a better leader and a better person. Holding me accountable, keeping me on my toes. I know yall will be unstoppable in the years to come because I have watched you all earn it day in and day out.
