## Caption

The Port Coquitlam TrailBlazers are Proud to announce the acquiring of Coquitlam’s own 2004 Forward Derek Leroux from the White Rock Whalers.

Derek is a 123 game veteran of Junior Hockey where he has recorded 93 points in that time. Leroux also has registered 9 playoff games along with going to game 7 of PJHL finals with Ridge Meadows Flames.
Most recently Derek had 45 points last season in 45 games with the Whalers.

“Derek brings a lot of experience to our team this season. He’s a hard to play against gritty forward with great offensive upside.
Derek fits a need for our team to be harder to play against.” Says GM Ryan Ross

Please welcome Derek Leroux !
