Most drivers will want to stop under an overpass to hide from hail or a tornado. This is a really bad idea. Besides the implications of traffic accidents due to stopped cars, an overpass can act like a wind tunnel, making high winds even higher and funneling large debris towards you. It's safer to stop elsewhere on the road, or even better, take an exit to a gas station before the hail hits. #overpass #tornado #hail
