Arkansas libraries are facing uncertain times and we need your help. On April 2, the Arkansas Senate passed Senate Bill 536 (SB 536), which is now headed to the House for consideration THIS MONDAY, April 7. 

SB 536 eliminates the Arkansas State Library and its essential services for local libraries and could cause Arkansas libraries to lose critical support and resources. 

We’re asking you to contact your representative and tell them how YOU use the library, why it matters, and share your thoughts on SB 536. Together, we can fight for AR libraries! ⁠
