We are thrilled to announce that the Grand Sierra Resort Arena has been officially 𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗗 by the Reno City Council!

𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝘅 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝘂𝗲𝗹𝗼, 𝗢𝘄𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗶𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗮 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘁
“Today marks a bold step forward for Reno. With the City’s support, we are set to begin a once-in-a-generation redevelopment that will reshape the community and help unlock the region’s full potential.

The GSR Redevelopment Project is not defined by a single building. It’s a comprehensive investment in housing, infrastructure, public spaces, and entertainment that will bring long-term economic and community benefits to Northern Nevada.

I want to thank everyone who lent their voice in support of this vision — from local leaders and business owners to residents who believe in what Reno can become. I’m especially grateful to University of Nevada President Brian Sandoval and Athletics Director Stephanie Rempe for their partnership and unwavering belief in this project.
