Best pub in Ireland

This one is 150 years old and is in the back of a local shop. 

An authentic “shop pub” located in Athy, Kildare.

Owned by the O’Brien family since 1880. 

So many places try to replicate this but is one of the originals, effortlessly perfect. I love it.

I only recently found through thedeadrabbitny instagram why we have spots like these around Ireland, and it was all down to the temperance movement. Pubs needed to offer more than just alcohol to survive:
