## Caption

What an honor to have the Sámi National Theatre Beaivváš at the Museum this past weekend for their debut US tour! Audience members were treated to special performances of JUOIGGAS!, a musical voyage through the history and culture of Sami yoik, one of Europe’s oldest folk music genres originating from the indigenous Sámi people.

🎵 Our gratitude to performers Mary Sarre, Iŋgor Ántte Áilu Gaup (Áilloš), Nils Henrik Buljo, Egil Keskitalo, and the entire Sámi National Theatre creative team!
