Meet C1C Nathan "Nate" Nelson from Duluth, Minnesota.
 
He is a Biology major with double minors in Spanish and German, set to attend pilot training after graduation. 🎓 Nate ultimately hopes to fly humanitarian cargo missions, supporting global relief efforts around the world. 🌍✈️
 
Inspired by his brother’s service in the usarmy, Nate came to #USAFA to grow as a leader and serve something bigger than himself.
 
Nate has made the most of his Academy journey — from serving as a ranger at Philmont Scout Ranch to competing with the Ultimate Frisbee team and earning a gold medal in Paris with the iGEM team for Lyme disease research. 🧬🏅
 
His favorite memories include language immersions in Chile 🇨🇱 and Germany 🇩🇪, where he built strong friendships and grew in cultural understanding.
