Cleats are a very broad term when it comes to the type of shoes we wear in soccer, so let’s break down all the style together, and what they’re best for! 👀 👟 

Firm grounds are what you wear when the ground is firm, and this is what I personally wear about 99% of the time! ⭐️ 

Soft grounds have extra long studs, which help prevent slipping when the ground isn’t as firm! This is what I would use when the ground is more soft from rain, snow, or just more loose grass and dirt. 🫣 

Turf shoes; these have less traction and the studs are a bit smaller! These are a lot easier on your feet and joints when you’re playing on the turf. I typically wear these the most during off-season when I’m playing on turf the most! ⚽️ 

Indoor shoes are great for when you’re playing on a hard court, because they have extra traction so you don’t slip! ✅
