In 2005, while searching for a long-term corporate sponsor, the FleetCenter (now TD Garden) launched a unique fundraising campaign: it auctioned off one-day naming rights on eBay. From February 10 to March 13, the venue was renamed 30 different times — everything from humorous tributes to creative corporate slogans.

The result? Over $150,000 raised for local charities in the Greater Boston area — all through the power of community and creativity.
