I love getting kids excited about reading! Talking about the magic of reading to children at a young age and informing them about different ways books can be accessed, helps eliminate roadblocks to early literacy. Being a role model & advocate gives me the perfect opportunity to talk about free resources easily available to them, like school and public libraries, Little Free Libraries, and other literacy programs like pjlibrarybayarea & imaginationlibrary which give kids access to new books monthly at no cost. Oftentimes it’s just a matter of spreading the needed information at the right time to those who want to hear it most!
