🇩🇴 Hoy, luego de una jornada de visitas, sentí el deseo profundo de pasar a ver a alguien muy especial: Eddy Toledo. Gracias a que esta vez andaba acompañado de mi familia, la vida me regaló una de esas Diosidencias que solo Dios puede orquestar.

Estar con Eddy fue revivir momentos que marcaron el inicio de todo. Y justo en medio de esa conversación,(que grabamos y que luego les compartiré) la prodigiosa memoria de Papi trajo un recuerdo sagrado: un día como hoy, 13 de mayo de 1998, hace 27 años, fue mi padre quien recibió de manos de Eddy el primer cheque de mi firma.

Escuchar eso, estando a su lado y con mi familia presente, fue simplemente poderoso. Qué bendición volver a abrazarlo, compartir risas, anécdotas y sentir que la vida siempre encuentra formas de honrar nuestras raíces.

Gracias, Eddy. Gracias, Dios.

🇺🇸 Today, after a day full of visits, I felt a deep desire to stop by and see someone very special: Eddy Toledo. And thanks to the fact that I was with my family this time, life gifted me one of those “God-incidences” that only He can orchestrate.

Being with Eddy was like reliving moments that marked the beginning of it all. And right in the middle of our conversation (which we recorded and I’ll share with you soon), my dad’s incredible memory brought up a sacred moment: on a day like today, May 13th, 1998 — 27 years ago — it was my father who received the first check from my signing, handed to him by Eddy.

Hearing that, by his side and with my family present, was simply powerful. What a blessing to hug him again, share laughter, memories, and feel how life always finds a way to honor our roots.

Thank you, Eddy. Thank you, God.
